With simplicity and directness, video as a medium reveals another gaze in landscapes, capturing themes difficult to analyze otherwise such as time, erosion, movement and use. Video studies are considered as a starting point of an interrogation on the environment and the way people respond to their immediate surroundings. The use of media technologies and of data capturing devices as a base, allows our office to produce precise informed representations of our landscape projects, both in still and moving image formats. Each of these tools facilitate the understanding of complex dynamics in the landscape over time, allowing for a broad range of variants to be developed.
