Der im Wettbewerb siegreiche Masterplan gibt die Richtlinien f\u00fcr die Gesamtstruktur des Campusgel\u00e4ndes vor, indem er den weiteren Ausbau von Geb\u00e4uden, Verkehrswegen und Erholungsr\u00e4umen vorzeichnet. Der 400 Hektaren umfassende Campus erstreckt sich \u00fcber die ganze Breite des Yvette-Tales und einen Teil des Saclay-Plateaus. Erste Priorit\u00e4t genossen das Geh- und Radwegnetz sowie die Schaffung spezieller Landschaftselemente f\u00fcr wissenschaftliche Experimente, aber auch f\u00fcr Sport- und Freizeitaktivit\u00e4ten. Der Masterplan wurde im Jahr 2000 vom franz\u00f6sischen Staat und der Universit\u00e4t Orsay gutgehei\u00dfen.
