Il servira \u00e0 la construction d\u2019un nouveau campus pour Novartis et offre une vari\u00e9t\u00e9 d\u2019activit\u00e9s nautiques accessibles au campus et aux quartiers voisins. Le projet pr\u00e9voit une nouvelle travers\u00e9e sur le Rhin afin de cr\u00e9er une promenade circulaire depuis le centre m\u00e9di\u00e9val de B\u00e2le jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la fronti\u00e8re fran\u00e7aise, puis un retour sur B\u00e2le par le quai oppos\u00e9. Plusieurs param\u00e8tres fixes ont \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e0 prendre en compte dans la conception du projet, telles que les hauteurs et largeurs de quais. Le concept propose d\u2019\u00e9tendre le quai par une ondulation continue du mur de quai, offrant ainsi des pentes douces jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la rivi\u00e8re. Cette ligne ondulante d\u00e9finit alors le mouvement du projet, du parc St-Johann avoisinant \u00e0 la fronti\u00e8re fran\u00e7aise &#8211; une m\u00e9taphore du mouvement de la rivi\u00e8re. Parmi les nombreuses activit\u00e9s propos\u00e9es dans le programme, un restaurant \u00e0 quai, une piscine flottante ainsi q\u2019un ponton priv\u00e9 pour Novartis.
