La construction de la plate-forme du b\u00e2timent dans une colline mollassique a n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 d\u2018importants travaux de terrassement. La topographie de l\u2018espace est maintenue par des plaques d\u2018acier Corten jouant \u00e0 la fois le r\u00f4le de murs de r\u00e9tention et de gradins dans le jardin. Un petit amphith\u00e9\u00e2tre permet aux \u00e9tudiants de se retrouver pour des soutenances, \u00e9v\u00e9nements et expositions de plein air. Les zones pentues du jardin, dens\u00e9ment plant\u00e9es, sont stabilis\u00e9es par du g\u00e9otextile filtrant l\u2018eau et limitant l\u2018apparition de mauvaises herbes. Les lignes structurelles du nouveau projet rejoignent en fin de perspective un parc existant \u00e0 l\u2018arri\u00e8re du b\u00e2timents.
