The buildings platform wedged into a monastic hillside required significant terracing. The entire topography is held in place by Corten-plates that act both as walls and steps in the garden. A small amphitheatre enables students to meet for events critiques, and outdoor exhibitions. Densely planted slopes of the garden are stabilized with geo-textile drapes that spare water and weeding.
