University Campus Orsay, Paris

with Lipsky+Rollet Architectes, Frederique Garnier Landscape Architect, Fanny Tassel Urban Architect, 2000

Orsay is the biggest and most important scientific campus in France. This winning Master Plan sets the guidelines for the overall structuring of the campus; showing further development of buildings, circulations and recreational areas. The 400-hectare campus covers the breadth of the valley of the Yvette River as well as part of the Saclay Plateau. Priority was given to a network of paths and bicycle trails as well as to the creation of specific landscape environments for scientific experimentation and sport and leisure activities. The French State and the University of Orsay approved the Masterplan in 2000. Its implementation will run over the next 20 years.
