Imagine – Feltre‘s Landscape, Feltre

The City of Feltre, located in an Alpine region of Northern Italy (Dolomites), requested the development of a video Master Plan of their City and Landscape. The present video work presents a portrait of the city to the inhabitants. It is an unusual portrait because it shows the banal landscape of the Feltre suburbs side by side with its world-renowned Renaissance buildings and piazzas. The video further juxtaposes the immediate natural environment with industrial and infrastructural development. The goal of the project is to show just how vulnerable Feltre is to unplanned development, and to provide strong conceptual solutions for its future landscapes. The video was shown to a broad public on the Piazza Maggiore of Feltre in June 2002.
