Yantai Lake Park, Shandong

Yantai is located in the North-East of China, Province of Shandong. The site for this project is rather bucolic, with soft hills & lake areas. A local development firm has chosen this site of 35 acres to create a housing & tourist facility complex of 90 000 m2. Various lots sizes, responding to density variations and quality of the amenities were to be distributed around the existing lake. A zoning master plan concentrating on lots distribution strategies and road network to connect this sloped site was required. Among other parameters were: water management run off and collection, optimization of the circulation paths, orientation of the various housing units, program for the green spaces. A landscape master plan is scheduled after initial permit phase.
